If you enjoy Carnivals, eating junk food, listening to music, petting animals, viewing artwork, watching cowboys in action at a rodeo, shopping at vendor tables, and much more you will love the Montana State Fair in Great Falls, Montana!

GREAT FALLS – Celebrating its 80th year, the Montana State Fair is gearing up for another summer of family fun; and to kick it off, Fair officials are proud to announce the 2011 State Fair theme and night show lineup.

Running from July 29 to August 6, 2011, the Fair will look to bring more awareness to agriculture. This year’s fair will be focused on the theme “Something to Squawk About”, starring Charlie the Chicken.

Lisa Bracco, General Manager of the Montana ExpoPark, where the Fair is held, is excited about this year’s theme. “It brings the Montana State Fair back to its roots of agriculture, animals, and family fun,” said Bracco.

The Fair wouldn’t be complete without the lineup of the 2011 night shows. From country music to classic rock, fair-goers will once again get to see their favorite artists for free with our general admission bleacher seating. This year’s lineup will include:

Saturday, July 30, 2011
The Charlie Daniels Band with the
Great Falls Symphony

Monday, August 1, 2011
Eric Church

Tuesday, August 2, 2011
REO Speedwagon

Wednesday, August 3, 2011
Josh Kelley

Thursday, August 4, 2011

Joan Jett and the Blackhearts

Friday, August 5, 2011

A Rodeo Dance with Jason Jones

“We got great feedback from the community on the free bleacher seating that we offered last year so we brought it back again this year along with a great variety in the types of concerts we’re going to be offering this year,” said Bracco. “There is going to be something for all ages to enjoy this year.”

A few concert artists, including the act for Saturday, August 6th, are still being determined and will be released once finalized.
